Synopsis The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
This fantasy adventure film begins with 2 Hobbits fishing, namely Smeagol and Deagol. At that time, they found a ring in the river.
The ring causes evil thoughts to cloud Smeagol's mind which eventually kills Deagol to get the ring.
That's the origin of why Smeagol ended up turning into a monster Gollum.
Hundreds of years later, the story continues with Gandalf, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, and Theoden brought their troops to Isengard.
There, they saw that Sauron and his army will attack the capital Gondor, Minas Tirith. With the vision they went there to warn Gondor.
Meanwhile, Gollum is with Frodo and Sam sneak into Minas Morgul and watch in horror the troops Witch King, orc, and other dangerous enemies.
Gollum leads them both through the cave. However, Gollum turns out to be planning to kill Frodo and Sam and take the ring.
