This makes IBO have a much more brutal war scene in accordance with the story which does show the darkness of war.

4. Code Geass (2006)

This anime was chosen because it has a very excited main character and twists that keep coming.

Code Geass tell business Lelouch disguised as Zero in his quest to save his sister, Nunnally.

Code Geass also has an ending that, although tragically, is also very satisfying, which is sadly messed up a bit by the sequel film that just came out.

5. Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995)

This iconic anime is a work that can be considered as an anime anti-mecha because it contains many elements that criticize the mecha anime.

Evangelion also contains many heavy themes such as depression and other mental conditions such as dependencies.
