How to Make Swipe Up on Instagram Easily
Before we get into how to make a Swipe Up on Instagram Stories, there are a few things you should know:
The Swipe Up Instagram feature can only be used business account or Business Profile Instagram.
The Swipe Up Instagram feature can only be used by accounts that have a minimum of 10,000 followers or more.
The following is how to make Swipe Up on Instagram Story.
Make Instagram a Business Profile
The first step you have to do to be able to use the Swipe Up feature is to change your personal Instagram account to a business account.
Here's how to turn Instagram into a business profile account:
Step 1 - Instagram Login
- Login to Instagram account you. If your Instagram account is still on private, you have to make it public.
Once your account becomes public, you tap your profile icon.
Step 2 - Go to Settings
- On the profile page, click the three line icon which is in the top right corner. Then select Settings.
Step 3 - Convert Instagram account to Brand Account
- After that, select the menu Account.
Then click Get Instagram Business Tools.
Step 4 - Choose Instagram business account category
- Click Continue until it appears Choose categories for your business profile (choose a category for your business profile).
Just choose one of the categories, then click Next.
Step 5 - Connect the email address to Facebook.
- Enter your email address. Then click Next and click again OK.
Then, connect your business account on Instagram and Facebook.
If you don't want your account to be linked, just click Don't Connect to Facebook.
Well, now your Instagram account has become a business account.
How to Make Swipe Up on Instagram Story Without 10K, Can You Do It?
As said before, the conditions for being able to use Swipe Up feature that is, you must have a minimum of 10,000 Instagram followers and an Instagram business profile account.
If your Instagram account doesn't meet these two requirements, of course you can't use the Swipe Up feature.
For those of you who have less than 10,000 followers and want to try the Swipe Up feature, here's how:
Step 1 - Take or upload a photo to your Instagram Story
- The first way to Swipe Up Instagram is you take or upload photos to Instagram Story you.
You can take photos that are in the Gallery of your cellphone.
Step 2 - Click the Link icon
- Next, you click the icon Link (it looks like a chain) on the top right, like the picture above.
Step 3 - Add URL
- After that, you click Add Link to add a link or page link, then enter your URL, and when you are done, click Done.
Step 4 - Publish Your Instagram Story
- Click Send To or Your Story which is under your Story. And, now the Story that you publish has a Swipe Up/See More link.
How to Make a Swipe Up If Your Followers Are Not Up To 10,000?
Until now, this feature can only be used by Instagram accounts that have been changed to business profile and has more than 10,000 followers.
However, if your account does not meet these requirements, there is an alternative, namely: add a link in your bio.
Then, you promote the link in the bio through your Instagram Story.
If you still want to have the Swipe Up feature, whether you want it or not you have to find a way to increase Instagram followers to 10,000.
