Ishiro Serizawa and Vivienne Graham is a researcher who visited the Philippines to study major landslides in mining areas.

They found 2 large cocoons and also the skeleton of a giant creature.

Not long after that, the same earthquake occurred in the Ujira area, Japan. The earthquake caused landslides in the nuclear area so it had to be isolated.

15 years later, Ford Brody is married and lives in San Francisco. Ford and his family used to be residents of the landslide Ujira nuclear area.

Ford returns to the United States, while Joe Brody, his father, remained in Kontakra to oversee the nuclear reactor there.

Joe believes that the big earthquake 15 years ago was not something natural. He continues to research the causes and possibilities.

Joe's prediction turned out to be right, gang. The cocoon found 15 years ago in the Philippines turned out to be the cocoon of a dangerous giant creature called Muto.

The vicious Muto began to threaten human life on earth. Humans can't fight Muto alone, but Serizawa believes that Godzilla can beat Muto.
