1. The Others
The Others is a Spanish horror film produced in 2001. Film written and directed by Alejandro Amenabar This had made Jaka surprised when he saw the ending.
There were 8 awards won by The Others in Goya Awards (Oscars for Spanish films), including Best Picture and Best Director. No wonder this film made it to Jaka's list.
This film tells the story of a mother and her 2 children who live in a remote house during the era of World War II.
Her two children suffer from a rare disease in which they are very sensitive to sunlight.
Terrible things begin to happen when the mother hires 3 mysterious housekeepers.
Many supernatural events occur in a house that is always dark due to the curtains that always close all the windows.
When watching this film, we will be able to guess that the three housekeepers are ghosts and it really happened.
However, plot twist in this film is not about the 3 ghosts of the mysterious assistant. Turns out, the mother and her 2 children are also ghosts, gang!

2. The Prestige
The Prestige is a film starring 2 top actors, Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman. From the two actors alone, you can definitely guess how cool the film will be.
The film, which is set in the 1800s, tells the story of 2 magicians named Angieir and Borden who cooperate in the action.
One night, their trick failed and cost the life of Angeir's wife.
Angeir blames Borden for his wife's death and the two separate. They both become eternal rivals by competing to present magic tricks that beat their competitors.
Borden rose to fame for his stunt called "Transported Man". In this trick, Borden is able to move places in a short time.
Angeir who was obsessed with defeating Borden started looking for a way and finally met Nikola Tesla. With Tesla's tools, Angeir was able to clone himself without anyone else knowing.
Angeir modifies tricks "Transported Man" Borden's by drowning himself and then appearing elsewhere.
However, to do this, Angeir must kill his clone in the trick so that no two Angeirs live.
Angeir is willing to "kill himself" just to beat his rival. Plot twist is that it turns out that Borden has a twin that no one else ever knew to help him do tricks "Transported Man".
This rivalry makes the lives of the two people fall apart just for the sake of pride.

3. Oldboy
old boy is a South Korean film that is very popular in Hollywood. Because of its popularity, this film was remake for the United States version, although it was not as successful as the original film.
This film tells the story of a drunken man named Dae-su kidnapped by an unknown person. The man was locked up in a hotel room without being granted access.
Inside the hotel room, Dae-su learns that his wife was murdered and he becomes the prime suspect. He thought about the fate of his son who was forced to become an orphan at the age of 4 years.
During the 15 years he was locked up, he tried to find out who the person who locked him up there while practicing martial arts in the room.
A female chef named Mi-do saves a fainted Dae-su by taking him to the restaurant where Mi-do works. Slowly they both start to fall in love.
Mi-do is then kidnapped by the same person who kidnapped Dae-su, known as Woo-jin. Dae-su remembers that he went to the same school as Woo-jin.
Apparently, Dae-su once caught Woo-jin doing incest with his own sister.
Dae-su spread the rumors and embarrassed Woo-jin's sister and ended her life.
Woo-jin is devastated and takes revenge from Dae-su by confining him for 15 years. Dae-su who realized this then apologized to Woo-jin.
But it turns out, Mi-do is actually the biological child of Dae-su, the gang! Woo-jin wants Dae-su to do the same thing he did in the past to embarrass Dae-su and kill himself.
Wow, this ending is crazy!

4. Se7en
Se7en tells the story of 2 detectives named Somerset and Mills who is trying to solve a serial murder case.
This murder case is a strange case because the killer will kill the victim of his choice sadistically according to 7 Main Sins man.
While chasing the killer in the middle of the desert to prevent the 6th serial murder, Mills and Somerset find a package in the form of a mysterious box.
Plot twist the film is that it turns out that the contents of the box belonged to the head of Mills' wife who was murdered by the killer, aka John Doe.
John Doe admits that he killed Mills' wife to represent the 6th sin, namely Envy (Envy).
John Doe then provoked Mills to kill him and made John Doe a symbol of the 7th sin, namely Wrath (Anger).
Mills, filled with rage, thoughtlessly shot John Doe and instantly killed him without paying any heed to Somerset's warnings.
As a result of Mills' actions, it was John Doe who finally won, the gang. He succeeded in accomplishing his mission of committing murder according to the 7 basic sins of man.

5. The Sixth Sense
The Sixth Sense started with a child psychologist named Malcolm Crowe who returns home to meet his wife, Anna.
Unexpectedly, a man broke into Malcolm's house and pointed a gun.
The man Malcolm recognized as Vincent, a former patient with a case of hallucinations that he failed to manage. Vincent shoots Malcolm before Malcolm can calm him down.
After the incident, for some reason Malcolm's relationship with his wife became increasingly strained. He felt that his wife no longer loved him.
Long story short, in order to make amends, Malcolm tries to handle cases similar to Vincent's.
Malcolm helps Cole who is a child with a case of hallucinations as experienced by Vincent.
Cole claims he can see ghosts. At Malcolm's suggestion, Cole is able to solve the case of the death of a girl who always haunts him thanks to the help of the ghost.
Seeing that Cole has made peace with his "talent", Malcolm returns home to try to reconcile with his wife. He finds his wife asleep while watching their wedding video.
Anna was delirious as to why Malcolm had left himself alone, then accidentally dropped his wedding ring on the floor.
Hearing this, Malcolm remembered the incident where he was shot by Vincent. Turns out, Malcolm died after being shot, gang!
So, Malcolm has been one of the ghosts that Cole can see, the gang. No wonder Malcolm is often ignored by others.
