HTTPS is implemented with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) which eventually underwent an update to TLS (Transport Layer Security).
At present, most website already implemented HTTPS as a standard. a web browser which integrates with HTTPS requires SSL Certificate to authenticate a server or website.
