For the uninitiated, OpenSignal is a company that specializes in wireless coverage mapping. The company collects data on the signal quality of mobile operators around the world.
OpenSignal have researched 3G and 4G speeds, they managed to collect global data from 822,556 OpenSignal application users around the world. Interestingly, the data also reveals how much time smartphone users spend on WiFi networks. In what order do you think Indonesia is and which operator is the fastest? The Country With the Fastest 4G Internet Network in the World
South Korea Becomes The Country With The Fastest Mobile Network Internet 2016
Starting from the country with the fastest Internet in the world, South Korea lead by bringing the Internet to its citizens at an average speed 41Mbps. The closest rival is Singapore with 31Mbps, followed Hungary on 26Mbps. Next in a row there are Australia, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Japan, and Sweden. Remember, these values are calculated from the user's speed, not the theoretical maximum offered by the operator.
Smartphone users are very dependent on the WiFi connection
The latest data from OpenSignal also shows how much time smartphone users spend on WiFi networks. In 46 countries, smartphone users spend more than 50 percent of their time using WiFi. Meanwhile in Indonesia alone spent about 27.83 percent.
Increasing demand for Internet and data packages unlimited expensive, making smartphone users look for free WiFi connections. Interestingly, even countries with the fastest Internet, such as the Netherlands, New Zealand, and China, spend more than 60 percent.

Telkomsel is in second place, with speed download10.2Mbps and 4.1Mbps uploads. Next up is XL, with speed download6.1Mbps and 2.7Mbps uploads. Then Indosat with speed download5.4Mbps and 1.3Mbps uploads. Smartphone with download4.4Mbps and 1.3Mbps uploads. Finally there are 3 operators, with speed download3.0Mbps and 1.7Mbps uploads.
All of this is still far behind other countries in the world which have even reached 41Mbps, such as in South Korea.
