Smartphones that we use, of course, contain important data. One of the example is phone contact. For Android cellphone users, the safest place to store phone numbers is in a Google account. So, mutually HP is not a problem. Because the phone contacts will sync automatically on the new device.

How to Backup Phone Contacts Using Another Google Account

1. Export Contacts from First Google Account

Before starting, you first visit the page Google Contacts and sign in with your first Google account. If the display you see is like the image above, it means that you are already using the latest version of Google Contacts.

Then you click on the option Other and select Export, so, it will appear pop-up confirm that this preview version of Google contacts does not support exporting yet. Don't worry, to export you click Open Old Contact just.

If the old view is open as shown above, then you can select contacts one by one or select all contacts. Then, go to the tab Other and select Export. That's the first step, how to transfer a cellphone number to another Android.

2. Save to Google CSV Format

After you choose Export, so, it will appear pop-up. Where once again you can set the contacts you want to transfer. You can manually select up to 250 contacts, select by group, or all contacts.

Next, you can choose which export format. There are 3 options, the first is Google CSV format to import into Google account. Outlook CSV format, for importing into Outlook or other applications. And, vCard format for importing into Apple Address Book or other applications. When you're ready, click Export and save the file on your computer.

3. Import to New Google Account

Now you have an export file from your first Google account, so the next step how to transfer HP contacts to another Android is to import them into your new Google account.

Still on the Google Contacts page, now you remove the old Google account and sign in with the new Google account. Same as the step above, click option Other and select Import.

Then select the exported file earlier and select Import. So it doesn't take long, all the contacts in your first Google account move to the new Google account. You have successfully done backup a precious phone number, so what are you waiting for? Do backup now, good luck.
